मनीषĪnu Malik couldn’t have asked for a better comeback. AshokĮven though the song is lovely, it is absolutely unoriginal and reminds the listener of songs such as "Ek ladki ko dekha". Monali impresses the listener and so does Anu Malik. Like this reprise version better than the male one. Some places have a nice melodic structure. Reminds one of MM Kreem rather than Anu in his heyday. The song works fine overall, because of Monali's singing and a fine tune. Is it me only me who thinks that 'girahaa' does not sit naturally in that mukh.daa and also that Bollywood have abandoned any effort at rhyming as well, so 'barase' follows 'ulajhe' and 'sulajhe'. The singing is good with Monali Thakur giving it the right emotion (unlike her Sawaar Loon in the past). What do we have here? An Anu Malik winner? To give the devil his due, it is a beautiful composition - shehnai, flute and the arrangement all in order the pauses in place and the certain sense of quietude. a little more attention to her pronunciation would be nice!. I don't like her song quality and singing these days who knows with technology being what it is. Monali is coming forward with great songs. A repetition of Moh-Moh, Toh-Toh gives it a journey like feel. The song is beautifully worded by Varun Grover. He effectively employs Naveen Kumar’s flute and Omkar Dhumal’s Shehnai especially during the interludes. His composition is musically rich seamlessly moving from one raaga to another. KetanĪnu Malik couldn’t have asked for a better comeback. This sounds so much better than the male version. PavanĮasily the song of the year for me. ShivaniĪnu Malik's best effort in last decade by miles. UVRĪnu Malik's lovely music leaves a lingering effect. The last time I remember her doing this is with "Sanwaar Loon" from Lootera (2013). Monali puts her heart into it, and it shows in the final product. He has not only composed a nice tune, Varun Grover's words fit in it very beautifully. It's not easy to accept this as an Anu Malik tune. It is difficult to pick one version over the other. A welcome return by Anu Malik and sung passionately and in equally beautiful fashion by both Monali Thakur and Papon. This song captures not only the romantic mood of the situation but also stays with you for a long time after it is over.
